6 STARS! Jim came to my rescue 9-10 years ago after a bad experience with a different agency. He listened to me and helped me look beyond some horrible decorating to find a place that ideally suited me and my girls. I had no hesitation at all when I decided it was time to down size. Again, he listened to what I needed and found a condo that checked all of the boxes. I've asked him to sell my current home. Due to my great experiences with Jim, I've recommended him and Shorewest to my new associates.

Jim is an excellent realtor, in all aspects of what I believe a realtor should be. After 2 unsuccessful listings over the past 6 years (Barbara Young at Shorewest & Coldwell Banker), my wife & I wanted to change our luck and go with a man instead this time. His face on the website looked like someone who would sell my home - simple as that (I didn't know him, nor did he come recommended by anyone). And boy were we right. In fact, prior to Jim's listing, we never even got an offer of any type from anyone over the combined 10 months of listing the home during those past 2 listings. Jim got us our first offer after just 2 months of officially listing the home (mid-Jan to early-March 2017). When we met Jim in person in mid-March (after having already received and accepted the offer just a week prior), we realized we definitely went with the right guy. He's confident and friendly, and just seems like the kind of realtor who might say to a prospective buyer: This is what you said you wanted. What's holding you back? In other words, he's a closer. Had we not received that early offer while snow was still coming down, we felt confident Jim could've gotten us another offer. We soon realized the real work came after the offer was accepted. Jim met with us at our hotel and provided us with a written laundry list of all the things we needed to still do (water tests, septic, radon, stake property, etc), and held our hand throughout the 2-month long process that followed. Jim (and his very able assistant Katie Egan) kept in touch with us every week (sometimes a few times in a week) to make sure we stayed on schedule for the May 23 closing date. We closed on May 23, with no issues. Thank you-thank you-thank you, Jim. A heavy weight has been lifted off our chest. From now on, whenever I receive a phone call with a Wisconsin area code, I'll know it's just a friend, and not a renter calling with problems or a contractor looking for a check.
